Marion Eileen Creaghan

Marion Eileen Creaghan (née Johnson), RN of 125 Pleasant Street, Miramichi West, widow of John D. Creaghan, whose death occurred at the Moncton City Hospital on Thursday January 30, 1997 at the age of 68.

Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lila (Langille) Johnson. She was a Public Health Nurse and attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed all sports and the outdoors. She graduated as an RN from the New Waterford General Hospital.

Survived by four sisters: Eleanor (Mrs. Eric Finney), Elizabeth (Mrs. Peter Wallace), Maxine Johnson and Katherine (Mrs. Fred Breau), all of Moncton, two brothers: Frank (his wife Frances) and Joseph (his wife Janice), both of Moncton, one aunt, Theresa Johnson of Sydney, NS, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive visitors at Bell’s Funeral home on Sunday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Miramichi West. Burial will take place in the church cemetery later in the spring.
