Ellen Redelfs (née McManus)

Redelfs, Ellen (née McManus, July 31, 1948) of St. Louis, formerly of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2016. Predeceased by her husband, Robert Redelfs of St. Louis; her father, John McManus III of Montreal; her mother, Louise McManus of Montreal, her brother, John McManus IV of Montreal, and her stepmother, Megan McManus of Kelowna, B.C., Canada. Survived by her sister, Clare McManus (Michael Griffin) of Kelowna, B.C., Canada; her sons, Peter (Theresa) Collins of Foothill Ranch, California and Stephen (Monica) Collins of Portland, Oregon; her stepsons David (Susan) Redelfs of Portland, Oregon and Richard (Susan) Redelfs of Los Altos, California; her stepdaughter, Anne Redelfs of Texarkana, Texas; and nine grandchildren.

Ellen was actively involved with the Greentree Community Church and enjoyed helping others as a Stephen Minister. She was a bright soul who loved everyone and delighted in small pleasures. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stephen Ministry at Greentree Community Church of Kirkwood or the Siteman Cancer Center of St. Louis. Her body was donated to the St. Louis University School of Medicine. Memorial service at Greentree Community Church, 100 Kirkwood Place, Kirkwood, MO 63122 on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:00 am.
