Barbara Creaghan of Riverview, NB passed away peacefully at the George Dumont Hospital on April 16, 2019. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alice Kerr and John C. Foran. Beloved wife of the late Donald A. Creaghan. Sister of Joyce (Randall) Taylor of Bluffton, SC. Preceded in death by 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
Dear mother of Mary (Paul) Taylor of Elizabethton, TN and the late Anne (Jeff) Hall of Oakville, ON. Loved Nana of Cindy (Matt) Hamilton of Johnson City, TN, Brett (Tanya) Taylor of Peoria, AZ, Brendan (Stephanie) Hall of Waterloo, ON and Lindsay (Adrian) Wong of Port Credit, ON. Great Nana to seven.
Barbara lived a full and happy life surrounded by family and good friends. Together with her husband Don they represented New Brunswick in the national mixed curling finals in Winnipeg in the early 70’s. Barb and her family enjoyed many summers at Burnt Church. Barb played golf into her 80’s at the Moncton Golf Club and was a competitive bridge player.
There will be a visitation with family at the Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road on Monday April 22, 2019 from 12:30pm to the time of the memorial service at 1:30pm with Fr. Charles Broderick officiating.
