NEWCASTLE (Special) – Alan Buckley Creaghan, 53, formerly of Newcastle, died Friday in Palm Beach, Florida.
Born in Newcastle, he was the son of the late Donald and Rita (Buckley) Creaghan. An attorney, he was a member of the New Brunswick Barristers Society. He attended St. Dunstan’s Roman Catholic Church, Fredericton.
He is survived by two daughters, Micah and Mrs. Diego Bunate (Charlotte), both of Florida; a son, Sean of Florida; a sister, Mrs. Nora Bunting of Newcastle; three brothers, John of Newcastle, Dr. Mark of Nordin, and Tom of Oakville; a grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Bell’s Funeral Home, Newcastle. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Newcastle. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Burnt Church.
