Age 52, died Sunday, June 27, 1999 of cancer in the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre Toronto.
Daughter of Priscilla Hazen Prichard and the late J.E. McConnell. Mary is survived by her brothers, Malcolm Hazen McConnell, his wife Dawn, their three daughters and Dr. John Hazen McConnell of San Diego, California.
Mary received her degree from Trinity College Dublin, after graduating from Havergal College in Toronto. She lived in Ireland, England and during her last years in Toronto she was an editor and a photographer. A top rider, she had been asked to join the Canadian Equestrian team.
