The death of Miss Marion Avard Marven of 267 Weldon Street occurred in Moncton Hospital Sunday. She was 67.
Born in Hillsborough, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Bliss A. Marven and Margaret (Dobson) Marven and was a former employee of the T. Eaton Company and of the Unemployment Insurance Commission. She was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Church and a member of the United Church Women, University Women’s Club, local Council of Women, and Meals on Wheels organizations. She was a Bachelor of Arts graduate of Mount Allison University.
Surviving are, one sister, Mrs. J. A. Creaghan (Alice) of Moncton; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
The body is resting at Tuttle Brothers funeral home with service to be held at Wesley Church, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
