Gretchen Catherine Creaghan

Gretchen Creaghan (1901-1998) died quietly at her home on Sunday, February 15, 1998. She was 97.

Mrs. Creaghan, a lifelong resident of Moncton, was the daughter of Bertram E. and Alice Smith. She was predeceased by her husband William V. Creaghan, also a brother, Jack Smith, and two sisters; Mrs. Marion White and Mrs. Margaret Dennis.

She is survived by one son, Mr. Justice Paul S. Creaghan of Moncton; two grandchildren, Dr. Jason Creaghan of Wolfville, NS, and Amber Creaghan of Toronto, ON; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Miller of Campbellton; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of the deceased, there will neither be visitation nor a funeral. Mrs. Creaghan will be buried next to her husband at Fair Haven Memorial Gardens, at which time there will be a family interment service.

Expressions of sympathy by way of a donation to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
