It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing, on July 25, 2010 in her eighty-ninth year, of Ellen Adams Cumming (nee Creaghan) beloved wife of John (Ian) Cumming, sister of Francis Creaghan, Michael Creaghan (Louise) and Mary Hersey, stepdaughters Joan Johnston, Heather McLeod (Don) and stepsons David Cumming (Diana) and Alexander. Dear grandma to Patrick and John Cumming.
Born in Logieville, NB, Ellen graduated from McGill in Library Science and joined Sun Life in Montreal before becoming head librarian with Alcan Ltd. with whom she served until her retirement. Service to be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010 in the chapel of Mount Royal Cemetery, reception to follow the service.
